Cannot locate the cd-rom. "Please eject and re-insert the CD-ROM, select OK and restart application." I got that message when I reinstalled the game in my new laptop. In my desktop PC running on windows 2000 AOM is working fine. My laptop is working on XP and it have a DVD-ROM drive. Can you help me? Thanks and regards.

The disk is not damaged because I'm using the same disk in windows 2000 and it is working fine.

It sounds like an incompatibility with DVD-ROM or something like that. Thanks.

Careful Javiero, this is a weird problem. A while back, I 'lost' 3 drives. Most games require you to have a disk in a drive to play (a practice I loathe and despise). Something happened, and every game I tried to play, an error would pop-up with 'cannot find drive' or words to that effect. I reinstalled the machine, and the problem disappeared. Suddenly, today, its back. I *think* it is some kind of spyware/trojan type thing. I have gradually been reinstalling programs and today I installed Opera with Java. I highly suspect it is something in the installer that has poisoned my machine. I have tried to remove some programs and files I have subsequently found to no avail: wildtanget (this crap will make you hate the world - it's 'gain' bad) wcmdmgr.exe Wuauclt.exe I don't want to reinstall my system again, but if I do, I will ditch Windows for Suse. Any revelations, please post and I'll do likewise.

Because the key can 'activate' your game. If you were telling a lie, and you had the game illegally copied, then giving a key # to you would be illegal. Sorry but we cant help you. Try microsoft groups. Maybe they can help you out.
