I had an idea. Like in Bc, there is a mod that enables yuo to fire all phaser banks at the same time, emplyed when hunting for cloaked ships...would it be possible to do the same as a special weapon for fed ships in A2? I know you can fire out of multiple ports (like the Admiral's Sovy) , so would it be possible to activate a special weapons button to do this, say, making a sovy fire its phasers and see if they hit a cloaked ship??? Infact, could it be done so all weapons are fired? whatever, if someone knows how to do this, or has any ideas to further this, could they post a reply here please! Thanks, Joetleon7 out :)

Errrm, I've done exactly what you said, armed it to a sovy, given it all the phaser hp's, and now, it doesn't work properly!!!

1) I have to keep pressing the button for the phaser to fire out of one arc then stop shooting.

2) How did you do it/how did you set out your odf's...thanks :)

Hi all, Maybe I'm not sure what you're asking, but I think if you put one hp per weapon, like this: weapon1 = "fbphas" weaponHardpoints1 = "hp01" weapon2 = "fbphas" weaponHardpoints2 = "hp02" weapon3 = "fbphas" weaponHardpoints3 = "hp03" weapon4 = "fbphas" weaponHardpoints4 = "hp04"

I think all 4 banks will fire at once. Let me know though....:lookaround:

Hmmmm, I'll try that...but that would make every phaser fire at once, I only want them to fire at once when i activate it, not all the time...

Sorry, brainstorm....

Unless you created a new weapon for each, under the name phaser spread so when you activate it, it fires from all selected ones???

Have you tried both, using sherman's weapon and my placement? If all else fails, check out the rhode island class, it has multi-target weapons. :smack: :D
