Hey can anyone explian why when i play instant action, only one of the 5 computer controlled borg factions built up?

A2 has the worst AI ive ever seen in RTS..

not fair - its a good AI for beginners and some of the missions are quite hard if u start to play them.

..Hhhmmm....that's a very odd AI behavior indeed :uhm:. Are you sure you didn't play no part in it(were the instant action option settings the way you intended it)? Before you go off installing AI enhancements left and right I suggest you check your settings for each player on the game setup menu screen because even for moderate a2 gamers, I think the stock AI is sufficient enough to provide a good challenge and plus...I never noticed the AI ever behaving that way before..............

Map size will force an AI to do exactly what you've described. This is because of pathing issues into and out of the base area. As a general rule of thumb, the AI needs about twice the space a human player does. Resource location on the map in question will also make the AI do nothing if it has no resources available in the areas it is coded to look for them.

Yep, Thunderfoot is correct. Its usually down to the space and resources on the map. Try using the maximum height option, sometimes that helps.
