Does A2 have a Director's Cut feature like A1 had? If so, I cannot find it for the life of me. I just got A2, strictly for the B5 and SW mods available, and..well..watching ships sit still and shoot at eachother is just annoying. So..Where's the Director's Cut feature?
what is a directors cut feature?
What did the director's cut from A1 do? I have it, but I never played it with the DC on.
Try it. It's badass.
The DC feature in A1 gives your ships a better AI. They 'dogfight'. They actually fight like ships would, instead of sitting their facing eachother trading blows. They will actually attempt to dodge fire..And they will orbit larger targets (Such as starbases) and bomb on it. They will also follow a target automatically, and even close in and attack on their own accord. Very cool. Makes A1 so much better. I'm going to cry of A2 doesn't hae this feature. It's so perfect with that B5 mod..
I thought the "directors cut" was that you got a short film clip when a hero ship died.
eg. in armada 1, in one of the missions (either "defend earth from the borg" or "attack earth with the borg") when Worf "died" I got a short film clip of the bridge of his ship and the voice clip "Today IS a good day to die! ...Raaagh!"
Note: In Armada 2 there is an option for your ships to "attack while circling the target" was this also available in Armada 1? This could be what you were thinking of?
there is some thing similar i think its next to the button where you choose alerts it lets you pick between cloverleaf circle and some others but i dont think you get an actual directors cut
No, there is NO director's cut in Armada2. Period. I'm 100% shure. "No esta el corte del director." :agreed
