I mean, with a mod or an unconventional way. I already crancked the games graphics all the way up, but I wonder if there's a way to improved them eve more.:confused:

You can make your own graphics or run them in some graphic program. Try downloading graphics mods from

Thats just ships and stations! besides actually 'bettering the gameplay' you can't, not unless you are a well qualified A2 modder (like the FleetOps team, MAP, Achillies, Atlantis, Elrond, Draconis or Yacuzza)! - Plus Others!

You should be able to increase the resolution of pixels of the desired ships...but...with all the textures...I don't need to tell you that would take a long time to do.

The more objects or more pixels just give in to the old games engine's stutters and hesitations. I've heard many people mention that they've gotten a new state of the art machine with beaucoup graphics power only to find the same stop action when the screen is loaded with objects as the 1997machines they first ran it on.
