Yeah, I keep reading these threads and I think its never going to happen to me.

Thats why I am going to back my CD up repeatedly when I get home from work tonight.

Well, you can get a new copy on ebay, but it might be expensive because it is becoming a rare game now.

I sometimes wonder if there are warehouses somewhere filled to the brim with out-of-date items like Armada. Wouldn't it be sad if that were true, while we're scrambbling for rare copies?

I rushed out and bought Armada 2 the day it hit the shelves after playing A1 for quite some time. The CD is now one of my most treasured CDs while so many of my other game disks are now scrated destroyed or simply thrown.

Tutorial - How to look after your Armada 2 Disc:

  • Take the disc out of the drive when you have played it.
  • Carefully place the disc into your Armada 2 case.
  • Safely place the case on a shelf out of the way.

If you have to, wrap the case in bubble wrap so its even safer. :p

Hmm. Since I have more than one disc drive (and few games that need a disc to work) my A2 CD is always in drive E. The only time I take it out is for special occasions, like our anniversary... Wait, are we dating?...
