There's a station on an Armada 1 mod i've downloaded it's supposed to be a federation turret the problem is that the turret can move on its own so when i try to build the damned thing with a contructor it wont work the last time i tried i had to do it with a shipyard and then decomission the shipyard to get at the turret so my question is simple how do i get rid of the moving aspect? i've compared the data in the OFD file to the ODF file of another turret and there's no difference, that tells me that the engine data is in one of the other files how can i fix the problem?

Do the include and keymap label variables in the turrets odf look like this?

#include "turret.odf"

keymapLabel = "phaser_turret" or keymapLabel = "photon_turret"

Also, all you would need to do is just remove the physics parameters section to make it stationary again(after checking the above first).

the Include and Keymap labels are displayed in the odf files like you said i'm not sure what the paramater for physics is but there's a label near the bottom of the list that says maxRoll = 1 i was thinking that if all else failed i would either look on the net for a new sensor odf file or try replacing the SOD file with one from another mod, the turret in question is just a modded sensor station that looks like a bigger torpedo turret

Paste the code of the turrets odf file.

This is what im talking about.
