What do you mean? In-game sound? You need to put it in: Sounds/Music/Filename... MA & MP3 files 'should' work, maybe you have the wrong format or something. What is it that you're trying to do exactly?

There are 2 places to add music files. One is for the menus/loading screens and it's in: Star Trek Armada II\sounds\effects. It's named: Shellsd0.WAV. The other is for in-game action and it's in: Star Trek Armada II\sounds\music. There're several types of music files that play in-game. You can choose which race you want your music to play for. Once you have your new file in wave format, just re-name it as one of the existing files, and overwrite. Be sure to back up the original, if you want to restore. If the game seems to freeze on loading, it may be because it's trying to process the new sound file... give it a few minutes to load.
