what would be really great would a new foe based around the Genesis wave books, now that would be interesting or even around the mirror universe, i mean there is tons of source material (i should know, ive read it - not in a sad no life kinda way)

The Borg is one, not several packs. They haven't ever been several packs either. And the Borg Queen has died before, by being blown up, but Janeway used a viral pathogen, which spread throughout the entire collective, efficiently killing 100% of the Borg.

Yep. It was a biological, or chemical Virus wasn't it? Viruses have to spread through the air, or through contact. That Borg hub would have been the only one affected. The Borg Queen was on it yes, but she has died HOW many times?

Wolf359 she was on that ship, and was blown to smitherines. Then Picard Snapped her "Neck" at the Battle on Earth. Finally Janeway Poisoned her on the Voyager Finale, Twice.

So outside of the normal 3 dimensions, she continues to exist. Somehow existing outside of space and time, at the same time as she is in it. So she must be defeated outside of Space time. Which has not happened.

I've heard a lot about these Genesis wave books. I've been wanting to read them for a while. Could be an interesting plot to base a game on, but I really don't care about that.

Well with regards to books, i wouldn't say they are the best but worth a read if you like old and new characters meeting up and working together, and with regards to the plot line, the point i was trying to make was that there is much source material out there the possibilities are endless (its my fault i have trouble getting to the point ask my wife !!!)

You've missed my point, all the Borg are connected. If one is infected with the pathogen, they all are. And the Borg queen was never the same person, but they breed drones and make them especially for the role of Queen.

Well tbe Borg Queen returns and clones Locutus again. Around in the story Voyager's gonna get Assimilated cause of the Technology it has. And oh yea at the end of the Entire game the Enterprise-E flies into the sunset and warps out and I decided at the end of the game there should be the TNG movie theme song at the end like at the end of First Contact,Insurrection, and Nemesis. For the game preview when you first start the game it will have the same actions of Star Trek Armada I and even more. We will see more of Picard inside of his ship actually talking and moving around the ship while your in the missions. And all of the rest characters as well. For Voyager being Assimilated dont worry I have something in the missions that will fix the Assimilation. At the end of Armada III the Premonition brings a bomb from the future that will destroy every last Transwarp hub since there's only 5 left currently and will also destroy every last Transwarp Portal as well. This will cause the entire collective to shut down permanently for a LONG time. Voice talents will include: Patrick Stewart-Captain Picard/Locutus Michael Dorn-Ambassador Worf J.G.Hertzler- Chancellor Martok Denise Crosby-Sela Who was the woman who played Donatra?-Donatra Alice Krige-Borg Queen Who was the guy who played Captain Dimi?-Captain Dimi Kate Mulgrew- Admiral Janeway Willian Shatner-Captain Kirk

The point of my original post, was to get "away" from time travel. Mostly. Do you know how much people hated time travel, in Enterprise? Most people see time travel as a cheap way to avoid a real plot. So be VERY carefull with time travel.

JarenYou've missed my point, all the Borg are connected. If one is infected with the pathogen, they all are. And the Borg queen was never the same person, but they breed drones and make them especially for the role of Queen.

CONNECTED HOW!??????

Electronically, a subspace digital network. How do you spread pathogens over the internet? It is the same thing.

Pathogens can not be spread through the Borg Collective Network, even through subspace. Just as the flu cannot be spread over the internet. It was a posion, not a computer virus. Few, IF any Borg outside the transwarp hub were infected.

The Borg that relied on a direct connection to the Queen were freed from her control. There are Borg that do not require a direct connection. Such as Hugh, and his group, or any Borg ship that is any significant distance from the unimatrix 001.

They would not have been in contact with the Queen, AT ALL. It would be impossible to infect all the Borg at once. I.M.P.O.S.S.I.B.L.E... It can't be done.

The Borg are still in the Delta Quadrant, recovering. They are not gone, and the Queen is probably still around, somewhere...

I think you missed my point. I am not going to continue arguing over a fake show. If this post didn't convince you, then its not worth trying to convince you.

Well this is a weapon from the furure am I right? The Bomb links every last hub together and then that way it can destroy it. And this is the most advanced stuff they have if you put your mind to it it's possible.

The pathogen was designed so that the borg queen wouldn't be able to moniter the shields on the transwarp hubs and lost control of the colective. After a while the colective would have pulled themselves make together but it would have taken a while and so without the borg working together as one they couldn't control their vessals and like at the start of the borg campaign in armada 2 they would have being weakened but not totally defeated.
