(just making sure) you DO have the mod installed right? and not a stock game? (you can never be too sure :) )
-off topic- 1. The Universal Translator seems to know all languages, but it has trouble with a few Klingon words 2. A deflector pulse solves all problems 3. Time travel goes wrong 4. A large previously un-encountered lifeform/energy being engulfs the ship

I hope they release a 2.0 to that. I had the same problem plus the omega cube is just a fusion but scaled up a few. I want them to make a completly new texture and crap for that. That would be pure awesome.
