Before you say, I've psoted a duplicate thread over at AFC to hope for answer... I have reason to beleive that somewhere in the masse of coding, there is a line which allow's you to set up a detect cloak grid...why do I believe this... gbtachdetgrid00.jpg The name of the button is "gbtachdetgrid00" and is beside another one which look's exactly the same. My hope is that by finding this, together, somebody/people can find a way to make a grid detection scheme work, making the game much more interesting for those Romulans and Klingons and their cloaking devices. Anyhow, i hope someone can help in this one. As I said, I've posted over at AFC as well so no need to post twice!

I've seen that image before many times when going through the texture folder, yet i just thought of it as another button for using the 'detect cloak' ability. Maybe Activision were going to do that, then gave up as they couldn't be bothered with it.

If you go through A2 you'll find a lot of images, SOD, odf and other from A1 or never used nor in A1 nor in A2. Most of them are only partial, so don't hope to much.

Yes having a look through your RGB folder is a good idea, there a few buttons in there that you can assign or get ideas from
