Sherman you CANT USE ANY FLEET OPS THINGS FROM THERE MOD. when i tried they denied me. when ASH tried they said they just want to keep fleet ops stuff in FLEET OPS MODS.

Well that puts a big wrench in the mod engine. but its not unsolvable. I'll contact Nanobyte I think he'll give permission to use NanoFX stuff. The Star trek Armoggedon Mod has the "Admirals_Sovereign" mod and that ship and any ships along that theme would be very usefull. Fleet Ops will be left in the dust if nanoByte says yes. I will outline the plan for this in my next post. with I will post in 15 minutes. I will need many misc. moddelers permissions as well. This Mod is and will Reinvent Armada 2.

Star Trek Armada III-J That is not a missprint to allow a smooth transission incase Armada III dose come out the Full title will be here after Called Star Trek Armada III-J. in Abbreviation it will be refered to as A3J. Planned Features: 8 races 24 ships per race 16 stations per race Disassembling ship Modules Embassys Ship Main Battery new interfaces. massive explosions Beautiful special effects New Space bodies. Ellimination of max officer limit on most Ships and most stations 26 Planet Classes ranging form A to Z New Game Engine capable of maintaining a 120 Million Poly Game without lag:naughty: New Game EXE Many many more misc thing that are still in thought.

The Races will be: Federation Klingon Romulan Borg Cardassian Dominion Tholian Species 8472 The Prometheus and Galaxy Class disassembling Ship Modules will work in harmony as will all the other ones. The Installer will not require the Armada 2 disk as Fleet ops did and you will not need the disk to play A3J. the installer will be very large.

Use caution sherman2. What your proposing could give you more problems, legally, than you may first imagine. Whether this venture your planning is free or not, I would suggest you contact Paramount directly to find out what the legal implications are. If you give them complete information in their lap, then you may even get their backing for the venture.

One question though. Are you planning on using the SOD format??

uh, Sherman, it would be totally kick ass if Nano said yes, but is that stuff compatible with A2? and are you planning to do an entirely new game, kinda what like Fleet Ops did?

I'm up for an entirely new game, and as mentioned above I'll be happy to help, but I didn't feel fleet ops was good. Just my opinion, but if you wanted a theme for the new game, try and base it around the original A2 version.
