I used to play the old Starfleet command gold edition, I was also interested in changing certain values.

In any case, I've been looking for a newer game that lets me use some of the newer ships. I think I'm going to like Armada, with its ability to have you control fleets and even construct ships.

I wonder however, how much customization and/variants there are within each class.

also, I want to add ships without replacing the default ones, many of the mods listed don't specify this nor do they generally give me any stats.

I want one ship, just for the shear excitement, that is well, I gues you could call it a god ship, or something of the like.

I want it to have cloaking abilities, transphasic torpedoes (as well as quantum), auto modulating and regenerative shielding, ablative armor , ect.

it has to be a federation ship btw.

can I incorporate any if not all of these into a pre-existing class?

I was thinking of a modified Sovereign (not replacing the originals)

I was going to use the Admirals, but can I edit it?

also the advanced excelsior dreadnaught concept looks ok, up I was only provided one angle to look at xd

Well, 12 ships can be built per station so, however many stations you have that can build ships is your limit.You could have 20 different versions of the Defiant if you wanted(no mass resriction like SFC3).

Well, to add ships without replacing you have to DL the individual ships that you want.

I know your new to this game but it is NOTHING like SFC3. cloak: already in game so yes trans torps: somewhere here or at AFC quantums: same as cloak(although they arn't really reffered to as quantums in the odfs) auto modulating = impossible regenerative shielding: use the Sphere special weapon ablative armor = impossible aswell

Ofcourse, as long as you don't release it. You can do whatever you want with anything as long as you keep it on your own system.

This ship? Excelsior II, Star Trek: Armada 2 Downloads, Star Trek: Armada 2 TNG, DS9, VOY and Future Well, most do one shot anyways.

In short, all that you want done can be done, apart from the shielding aspect; I don't think auto modulating is at all possible. However, say for the Borg, you could change weapons so that they do normal amouts, but when firing on the Borg, do very little (as to simulate adaption).

If I were you, I'd try the A2 upgrade project, it's a mod that improves the look of all stock stuff in game and still play online.
