Ok well I just downloaded the B5 mod for A2 and just wanted to say i loved it! The mod was everything i hoped it would be...and that is a good thing considering i h ave dial-up and it took 6 hours! Is there going to be an addon with missions and stuff? If so i have a few suggestions...
1. Instead of the Rangers have all of their ships and some stations in one big race which would be the Interstellar Alliance. 2. Make B5 buildable to Earth Alliance. 3. Have the Earth Force 1 (or whatever the president's ship is). 4. Horizontal jump gates! (this was the only part of the mod i didn't like) 5. Include custom maps for Instant Action.
Anyway these are just some thoughts i have. Great job on the Mod!
The League and rangers were aligned in teh series, but the game lets you play them seperately.
The O'Neil class stations are suppsed to be the "B" series. It shows the one EA can build as the "B4" station. I am not absolutely positive, but I believe in teh series theystated that babylon 4 was actually larger than Babylon 5, but the things they learned in buildign B4, let them build B5 with the same capabilities, but in a slightly smaller package.
The horizontal jumpgates are not a possibility in A2, because they are based off the wormholes in the code. If the A2 sourcecode were released someone might be able to do something about it, but for the moment, it's the only option.
There are alot of custom map/mappacks out there, and you can always use the option to build a random map.
True it would be nice to see some Babylon series specific maps, but the randoms work pretty well.
I downloaded it a few days ago, and it's great! I was speakless as I saw that the mod even has an intro *g* I love it - *never remove* It's so great! Woohooo! Would be cool if the Omega-Fighters would be able to be combined to a squadron, like the normal Fighters... but anyway  Wonderful mod! *keeps it on the pc* Wahaharrr impresive! Most impresive! *grabs mod and runs away*
I tried making a map for it intitled "Outer Colonies" but when i played it the start points ended up being located next to eachother so my base and the enemy base had a firefight. I noticed that in one of the randoms the creators of the mod took the liberty to name the planets in them.
