The ads interfere with surfing the forums and the main armada 2 files home pages.downloads..they interfere with browser function.my experience in firefox is that buttons stop working until the damned ads load completely.this means all browser navigation buttons.

i can see jpg,gif,etc..but flash 8 or higher? this is a drain on some machines.im looking through firefox's display abilities and HOPE to block the loading of any flash content from these forums and site..i may even uninstall the flash player itself to avoid the ads.

maybe the whole flash ads idea should be reconsidered in favor of gif or something...

edit:for firefox users go to tools, extensions, options, filters and add a block to .swf files..

Hmm, where do you see the ads on the forum. I have never experienced them. This tip works great for the Firefox Adblocker.

Well, This is a great tip for those of you that hate banner ads and text ads.

Go to your adblocker, usually with your Anti virus or Web browser and add each of these to the preferences.

  • pagead2.googlesyndication.com/*
  • pagead2.yahoosyndication.com/*

Always leave the * on the end so that the link can be used as a Wildcard. Hope this helps. But i must admit, i have never seen ads on the Gaming Forums or the Filefront Network.

You can also do the following. When the Firefox Adblocker is installed, if you see any ads, right click them and click Adblock Iframe.

Not a problem, you obviously hate ad's as much as me so i thought i would lend a hand. Remember, you can adblock anything, to do so, just right click it and click Adblock and voila, its gone. :)
