I hope this is in the right part of the fourm as I couldn't think of anywhere else to place it. First of all, I am not stating in the following that the work on the A2files site is of poor quality or that people are doing a "half-arsed" job, merely that there is too much for one (I beleive this to be correct) person to be doing. I'd like to volunteer my help, even if it's just during the christmas period, on the a2files site, be it file posting or POTD's, just something to keep the flow a little bit quicker. I've noticed the increased length's it's taken for POTD's to be changed and am also aware there is no shortage of them (having recently submitted two, I saw there was about 150). Additionally, I submitted a file in a good few days ago and whilst I do not expect immediate attention for it to be uploaded, I'd have thought it'd have been up within a short time (as the file was 3.5mb, my guess was the smaller it was, the less time it'd have taken to have set up on the site). Again, I'm not saying it is the staff who aren't doing their job properly, merely suggesting there is too much for one person to be doing. In short, I'd like to help in any way that I can into the running and maintanence of the a2files site so I can hopefully reduce the workload for you (FileTrekker). I await your reply, Joel out.

I must agree with Joeltion on this. Not that it being the fault of current staff (FileTrekker or Severd), but sometimes there is a delay. For a current example, the current PoTD.

It is too much for me to do on my own, and I am a one-man ship right now because SeV's abandoned me and I'm supposed to have new staff, they just haven't checked in or done anything.

Can you fill out this; http://armada2.filefront.com/info/volunteer

For me? I'll be sure to hire someone tomorow.

Done & Delivered. Just, I ask you take note of my comments, and that concerning Joel :) - Don't worry Joel, it's all good.

Edit: Who were / are these other staff that failed to show up? - The Staff Page was never updated in all the time I checked (maybe because they didn't sign up) - Shame on them.

Well I already did fill out one of those forms, twice. First time I was turned down, second time still haven't heard anything. Still, no matter.

If I was to get radical, how about I said that I make Major Payne vice-administrator while I put Joel and SupaStarAsh as File / News posters, and then should everything go smoothly I can do what i've been wanting to do and hand the site over to someone else to look after, aka. hand it to Major Payne in one of the most unexpected twists of the decade :p

What do we think boys and girls?

I'm all for that FT! I see no problems. I get on both with MaP & Joel and believe everything will run somewhat smoothly between us. Anyhow, this lies in your hands. But I am fine with it all :) - MaP is a well understanding guy, and will get keep the site at it's full potential no doubt, and I'm sure me and Joel can keep up with the News and Files :)
