Finally got this game... have to say, it's pretty awesome, even though the campaign is kinda wimpy (but I didn't buy this game for the campaign ;) ). My system handles it pretty well, though I have to keep everything at normal. Overall, well worth the money. Can't wait until the addons come.
No! I'm Spamacus!

Where did you get it? I didn't think they had any English versions released yet.
Ensign Riles;3419804Where did you get it? I didn't think they had any English versions released yet.
And use the 0.8 english conversion pack after applying the appropriate 1.01 patch (Czech or German) from here:
Hey presto, english version :)
Download is dodgy though, you only get 3 downloads. Do what i did and get it off amazon.de and avoid the Starforce protection of the czech version
There is already a reply, as I wandered off before finishing this post, but since I made the effort ...
Decebalus;3408033VBS is nothing like ARMA kid.
There's nothing like a venerable 19 year old, is there, eh?
And no armed forces don't use it like you think IMO. If VBS so so successul, it wouldn't have been sold to the public.
Your "opinion" that armed forces don't use it like he thinks? What kind of pointless statement is that? It is unllikely you would actually know how VBS is used.
Professional military simulation is a limited market, so it only makes commercial sense for BIS to exploit their technology based exactly on its professional success by producing a game.
Anyway do you know anything about physics? So I won't bother examplaining to you how helicopters fly in real life.
Go ahead young Einstein, stun everyone with your vast experience of rotary wing flight.
And since you claim the flying is realistic mind if you explain it?
How about disclaiming the claimed level of realism, by comparison to other games ... and with real world flight experience.
And do you enjoy flying in armed assault?
Perhaps the answer, posted a few lines of text earlier ... was yes.
P.S. Flying does not mean just staying above the air. You know dogfighting? Shooting ground targets?
Flying does mean basically staying airborne.
Staying above the air would space flight.
Aerial combat activity is known as fighting an aircraft.
Oh, and since your spreading what you "think" your opinion sure don't match others, some who played ofp since 2001. Source: Bis forum. I belive they have more credibility, no offence.
Credibility does not stem from using a simulation game for a long period, then using that as a claim to expertise with reference to the real world.
Just wait until WGL gets their hands on this game, then it will be da bomb! (hopefully)
What ia a mod and how can I activate it. Where should I insert the extra files which I downloaded?
where do u get the m24 in the armed assault demo
