Finally, some good, solid news. I was hoping that the release date would have remained "Holiday season of 2005", but early 2006 is a lot better than Operation Flashpoint 2. :p

Ach! Alas! If only I'd have winXP! ... even better, if the game would run on my 98

BIS are notorious for missing release dates, but that's because they have new ideas and implement them. Other developers put their ideas into an expansion pack instead.

Still, I hope it's early 2006.

It is a bit of a disappointment, was really hoping it would help pass the time until Operation 2. Now it could be as late as next summer...

Don't worry, if I know BIS right OFP 2 will be out late 2008 :p. I'm not complaining though, I rather wait 1 year to play a kick-ass game instead of getting a half finished PoS.

Can't wait for the drop in function in MP! That's about the only thing I hate about OFP (since all my friends hate all games with realism I havn't played OFP much online at all :().

We GF'ers should get online and play sometime :p. Just contact me on MSN if anyone wants to play.
