Well, to start off, don't get me wrong I love this ArmA.

It's just that during my course of gameplay these things just tickled me.

  • I made a beachead of M2 machineguns, added 2 enemy groups of infantry atleast 20 meters away and all 8 M2's were killed, in under 20 seconds. I even added sandbags later, didn't help. There was just too many AK74 bullets.
  • M113 and D30 are underpowered against vehicles. I have no idea whether these are self-propelled artillery of anti-tank cannons. Either way, it took atleast 11 shots to take out a meager BMP.
  • This game really needs some type of height function, along with some more objects. A guard tower and fences would be nice, along with some taller sandbags or MG nests.

Also, do old OFP .pbo things work with AA?

I've only played the demo but: You can't reload the AT-4! It's a fire-and-throw weapon.

AI has amazing accuracy, that's nothing new, machine guns placements have a defaulted spary pattern so that they do not fire just a stream of 200 rounds in a pin point manner.

The M113 only has a machinegun mounted (not sure, I'm more use to destorying them, rather then firing from them), and machine guns are only effective on thin skinned cars and trucks. While the D30 I believe is the artility, and well, no problem there, it's not a anti-tank gun, it's more or less designed to nail buildings and units.

Ones a APC the other is a Artillery gun.

BMP is not going to be blown up by machine gun rounds, and as for the D30, I have not tested this, but normally eastern guns don't fire at eastern APC's, but I don't think this would be too much of a problem, I'v blown up m113's with it.

Sorry, I meant M119, I was just thinking about the 3 then.
