Validating my existance

No matter what race you are, always try advancing on marines when they are not facing you. If you suspect that a marine knows where you are (they are facing directly at you and are relatively close) move away as quickly as possible, but not in a B line. Remember also that moving from standing to crouch and visa versa counts as movement for being picked up on a motion tracker. This is very important for preds, who's very abilities mean they often camp until the prey comes within reach. As an alien, do not attack marines when they are in groups. Just like in the movies, try luring them away or just pick off stragglers. As a predator, try jumping into the middle of the group and use your spear to hack them all up. Never let a marine get his gun to face you; jump, run whatever you can to be at his sides or behind him. If you get someone in a net, try killing them with a ranged weapon. All too often a marine will wait until you are close, then blow themselve (and you) up with a pulse grenade or a Sadar rocket.
I had that net/rocket thing happen to me today. I netted my friend, unclaoked , pulled my claw back to finish him and he fires a rocket point blank into the ground. It was not what i had in mind. Also if you've netted someone don't touch the net it net you as well.
