Here's the story: :nodding: Alien vs. Predator 2 – The Final Escape

4 years after the incident on LV-1201 the Colonial Marine vessel the Servator is coming in to dock with the Lunaris a space station located near to an asteroid field just outside the Earth’s solar system. All is well onboard the Servator as they approach the landing strip and dock with the Lunaris.

Little do the Marines and the civilians onboard the Lunaris know, that the heroic Predator, who killed the alien queen on LV-1201 and barely escaped the planet, has been tracking Lieutenant Harrison and his men across the galaxy, and now wants to claim the best trophy of all, the savior of LV-1201, Lieutenant Harrison.

As the Predator approaches the Lunaris, it activates the cloaking device on its ship and stealthily boards the Lunaris by gaining access through the cargo bay.

The Predator stalks the Marines around the space station and is seen by no one, until it breaches security and shuts off all power to the Lunaris. No one can escape as all power is out. The Predator is picked up on a motion tracker just before the power cut, and the crew onboard the Lunaris plea with the Colonial Marines to bring the Predator down, as a red alert is sounded on the space station.

Harrison and his men find the Predator on the verge of death, a hole ripped in its chest, coughing up its brightly colored blood. As Harrison approaches the dying Predator it starts laughing and speaks “It’s going to get you”, Harrison puts a bullet through the Predator’s head and it dies. “Shit, we’ve got a bug onboard.”

The power is restored onboard the Lunaris, however a state of emergency is declared and all civilians try to escape the Lunaris on its few escape pods, however many civilians go missing.

The crew onboard stays in the communications center with the Marines as they send a distress signal to a colony on Mars. The distress signal, however fails to reach them and the crew ask the Marines to guard the space station as best they can while they attempt to contact a rescue team, they say it could be several weeks before a rescue ship can reach them.

Weeks pass and Harrison and his team explore the Lunaris, looking for the young xenomorph before it reaches adulthood. When Harrison and his team reach the cargo deck they find eggs stored in cages everywhere. “This looks bad, what are they doing with these things so close to Earth?” They venture deeper into the Lunaris and find several dead humans with their chests burst open. Eventually the Marines get overrun by bugs and have to retreat to the upper decks.

Harrison speaks the comm. center “There’s loadsa’ bugs onboard; they can do it so fast! Get out of here, we’re going to blow the Lunaris to shit, it’s the only way to make sure these fuckers don’t get back to Earth”. The crews run to the escape pods, the Marines head to the docking bay with hoards of bugs chasing them down the dark corridors.

Harrison gets his team onboard the Servator as he takes out the last few bugs, just as the doors close a face hugger scrambles onboard, undetected by the Marines it hides while they set the charges off.

The Lunaris explodes and the Marines escape and set a course for Earth. Little do they know that the hugger is waiting for the perfect chance to start a new hive, this hugger is yet another queen hugger.

The Marines head back into hyper sleep for the rest of the journey back to earth; however the hugger gets the last Marine to head to the hyper sleep pods and the young queen that bursts from the Marine’s chest destroys their navigation systems and the Servator heads for a crash landing on a remote colony planet D-2AC.

Humans arrived on D-2AC in 2215 and have been mining fossil fuels that are no longer available on Earth. This planet is a remote mining facility with dense jungles and rock formations, on the other side of the solar system.

The Marines wake several years later in 2240, their ship crashed onto the planet’s surface. Their mission is to find help to get themselves off the planet and back to Earth.

This campaign will cover the introduction of the story onboard the Lunaris space station, and then will span to the planet surface of D-2AC, now infested with a xenomorph hive.

Harrison and his men must find means of escaping the planets surface that could only be provided by exploring the colonies and mining facilities, perhaps even the hive, and who knows, maybe an ancient species will show their ugly head once again. Features of Campaign:

  • Play along side a team of marines housing a huge arsenal of weaponry; you’ll never be alone on this planet.
  • Explore dense jungles, dark mine shafts and ancient ruins on D-2ACs surface.
  • Follow the final story of Harrison and his team of roughnecks.
  • Play through over 10 missions of single player mayhem.
  • Make the bugs pay once and for all.

Well, there are a few things I'd have problems with in that story. 1.) Killing the pred that people played as in AvP2? There was more than a number of people who were pissed that the pred you play in Primal Hunt gets killed. You may want to rethink this one.

2.) How did they know it failed to reach Mars? And why would it take weeks to get to even the most remote part of the Ohms belt? The Sulaco could travel to LV-426 in two weeks, and that planet was well beyond even Alpha Centari, the closest star next to our sun.

Weeks pass and Harrison and his team explore the Lunaris, looking for the young xenomorph before it reaches adulthood.

3.) Aliens reach adulthood in a matter of hours. It took less than 24 hours for the events on board the Nostromo to take place once they brought Kane on board. Queens take longer, of course, but still, how would a young alien (not yet an adult, i.e. chestburster) have managed to take out a veteran pred? 4.) D-2AC? I thought standard naming convention in the ALIENS universe for planetoids was to start them with 'LV'. Has that kind of naming been used in any of the novels? I've only read one, so I'm not up in that area. 5.) What fossil fuels would they be using? Most starship reactors are fusion, using hydrogen, and the military-grade ones (like found on the Sulaco) use a lithium-hydride (LiH) fusion plant. Oil and oil-based prodects aren't used in favor of superior synthetic materials, and products like coal are of limited use even today. As a rule, anything that requires an atmosphere to work properly is probably not used for fuel. Not every planetoid has an optimal atmosphere like earth's.

Erm, it's not the final script, just ideas mixed together - it will be changed to make it more realistic and closer to the Alien legacy, perhaps you could help me with it Xenomorph cos you seem to know so much about this sort of thing

FYI, if you didn't know what the Ohms belt is, it's a large asteroid belt that encircles our solar system up to about 2 light years away. Pluto is believe to be one of the largest bodies in the Ohms belt (as Pluto is not a technically a planet). However, an asteroid mining base would make a lot of sense. After all, asteroids and meteors are excellent sources of rare metals. The only problem is that you wouldn't be able to send ships like the Nostromo with refinery attached into such areas, since there's a very good chance a ship that big would collide with asteroids. All transportation of mined minerals to the transport ship would have to be via shuttle ships. As a note, it is highly unlikely they would use the UD-4 Dropships for this job, since it would be a civillian operation, and dropships can't hold as much as a dedicated cargo ship since it has to make room for all the military equipment.

I get most of my info from the Aliens Colonial Marines Technical Manual (sadly OOP) and the The Anchorpoint Essays.

I've had an idea Was just playing the Pred campaign earlier and I'm thinking about another script. This time you'd play as Rykov on the jungle planet, fighting Predators etc, and then the role reverses for some good Preddy playing :)

I'd like to work on any type of single player campaign really, if anyone would like to help out making some cool missions (as i dont know much about the editor) then post in here.

Thanks :)
