How much bandwidth does BF1942 use when playing online? Because I was thinking of upgrading to 2mbps from NTL but that has a 30gb montly limit (I have 512kbps, no limit from Virgin). Is that limit big enough for playing battlefield? I play it a lot.

You probably wont even need 30gb, unless you play bf1942 24/7

From the EA FAQ'

each player requires anywhere from 50 to 80 KBps.

Now that's Kilobits, not kilobytes, so at max 80 kilobits divide by 8 to get 8 kilobytes per second, 480 Kilobyts per minute, about 28 Megabytes per hour. If you were on 24/7 for a whole month (assuming the month has 30 days) that makes just over 20 Gigabytes per month, no problems!

I'm fine with a 10 GB limit.

Yeah, only 1-2 GB of bandwidth is me playing. The rest of it is downloading crap. The only disadvantage of having a limit is you have to be careful with your torrent downloads...
