I was just reading this interview http://www.totalbf2.com/features/interviews/ea-dice2.php and personally i think its great that they are addressing the 'dolphin diving' and also the 'bunny hopping' thing. I dunno about the 8 rockets on choppers though.

Comments on it?

Yes... They are limiting the payload on the chopper because an EMPLOYEE thought it was too excessive ? Are you kidding me ? Go back to playing duckhunt franchise director (not even a coder probably not even a constant player). Because one man says it. Unbelievable.

"Armondo" The grenade launcher was designed to give the assault soldier increased ability to fight against vehicles; however it is ever increasingly being used against infantry. We didn’t want to lose this ability,
Ever increasingly used against infantry ?.... Man this gets better and better. Have any of these guys played an FPS in their lives ? All weapons are used against infantry. Give me a break. The m203 should kill a person when it lands by them.
"interview"TotalBF2.com: Can you please comment on "TV-Guided missile now have a shorter range"? Armando: One of the more annoying exploits is players that fire TV guided missiles from their home base towards the enemy’s home base. In looking into the life span of the missile, it had more lifespan than it really needed to be effective. Its lifespan has been decreased.
Ummm.. did anybody catch the games name .. or what they wrote on the box ? Modern day warfare. It isn't a banana shot from a peel. And last but certainly not least for all those people out there cursing EA over this game.
We'd like to thank Armando Marini from DICE for taking the time to answer our questions. Stay tuned for the release of the v1.2 Battlefield 2 patch!

Dice.... Dice did the coding... EA has nothing to do with that part .

That sucks that you cant "chuck" C4 anymore. I've had many a kill that way. Oh well... I always thought that the 203/gp30 should have more range, kinda like in reality, but maybe with less rounds.

In reality, the m203 thing would not be an issue if they made it realistic a la America's Army. If the m203 does not travel a certain distance, it becomes a dud. This would solve the lame ass problem of skillless whores shotgun-m203ing. I HATE that.

seems to me that, it would take more skill to pop off an m203 next to you and survive.... People really need to get over this whole " m203 is unfair , shotgun is unfair .. whore noob " thing. Nothing has changed in Fps over the past 5 years except playability and technology. People will always use the shotgun because they want to. And they will always use an m203 cause they want to. Get over it.

*Sigh* Merrick, the next time I see you gripe about ANYTHING, I am gonna tear you a new one, since you admins can't seem to let any gripe go unnoticed

just make sure you can handle the griping back .. that's all... We just don't want to hear the Same old Gripes being brought up.. The least you can do is be creative. And it has NOTHING to do with being a mod, i didn't edit your gripe... i would have done that if i wasn't a mod ... Doubt me? You should read the sof forums before i was a mod. I give my opinion whether people like it or not. Welcome to forums. You don't want to be ripped apart ? think about what you post... some of the best people i know now have gone through it with me and we respect each other much more now.

Great post... good find, Undies.

I am on board with pretty much everything they are fixing. Hopping, chopper payload, and esp. the hit points of aircraft. That one is huge and has been overlooked far too long, imo. But the noob tube fix doesn't seem to make sense. Right idea to fix it, but to me it's not clear what they intend to do about it. Of course it should be used against infantry, what kind of crap is that? Although personally I haven't seen it used that much.
