ok so ity appears that EA have released the 1.41 patch for Battlefield 2 but can anyone actually tell me a list of fixes. I cant find this anywhere, i dont even think EA know what they are fixing anymore!!
This is what I found. Greetings, Things continue to move within the Battlefield Universe. Today we are releasing the 1.41 patch for Battlefield 2 that resolves an intermittent crash that affected game servers. Although this is a small update this improvement will greatly improve the stability for players. This patch will be available beginning at 8:00am PST.
What I can't understand is why they didn't make an incremental. It's 536 megabytes for an intermittent server crash? There's gotta be something they're not telling us. This is a conspiracy against all BF2 players! :p

Ya, that's what I was wondering... Although with EA link, the 536 MB should only take 30-40 min to get. I'll download it tonight, and install it later. No big deal. --Deamion
Well, when your download manager is running 24/7 anyway, 538mb or whatever size it is isn't a big deal... But yeah, it is rather odd... Perhaps they just finally pulled themselves together and made a patch only with fixes... I believe I saw a list somewhere with all the fixes, but I don't remember where... It was either here on filefront or on fpsbanana
This 1.41 release was certainly odd. DICE doesnt say a word about it, then I go to filefront's bf2 site one day and poof, 1.41 patch available for download today! What I want to know is why doesnt the official bf2 website or almost any other webpage other than this one even talk about or acknowledge 1.41's existance? And 538 mb just for a server crash? And I'm starting to think they make up some of these technical sounding things and say they have fixed them, when in reality they are spending most of thier time trying to de-fecalize their incompetant(and highly fecalized) coding. Intermittent server crash? What exactly does that mean? Is that when you click the join button after about 10 mins of client verification and like 5 secs after you connect to the server the screen freezes and lose your connection, or when you have been playing for awhile without any problems and you lose your connection for no good reason, or is it when your playing on a server that just up and resets itself for no apparent reason (which in my experience is very rare and not enought to dedicate a patch to)? Oh, and did you think that wall glitching(old bug they "fixed") was gone? Think again...
dont u guys get it they did this with bf1942 and bf vietnam, they make up something instead of just saying this is the patch that makes it stable
Great, another useless patch how about a new map or something.
BUG FIX
- Fixed an extremely intermittent server crash bug.
That is all it seems to do, kind of a waste you have to download over half a gig since no incremental.
If you really want to see what all the patch did, check out the patch log in your root bf2 folder. You'll see it replaced all the maps and a bunch of PB stuff, amongst other things.
