Whats the best graphics card i can get for £100, give or take £10. (£90-£110)
has to be pci-express, 256mb of gddr3 ram :)
thanks for all replies
yeah just find a brand u like more ATI or Nvidia ATI has high pic. quality and nvidia has high performance if u play BF2 alot like me go with nvidia but if u like to moddle stuff then go ATI u will get better AA but like ati the cards get really hot and it will be even more hot if u are going to be playing some BF2 with a $100 dollar card so your best bet is to find a card that u will use mostly or just save your money cause not only u will now have to save up for a videocard but now a physics card, they run about 299.00 for the good one's so just put some thought into it befor u make a choice. AMD 2x3800 3gig ram 7800gtx EVGA Nforce 4 SLI 160gb hdd 600watt pcu coolerMaster liqued cooling, with wavemaster case
well considering im 15 without a job because of my education, i would need a card that can operate effectively at art and gaming. will probably go with nvidia, 6600 sound good? was going with a sapphire ati x800 256mb gddr3, apparently performs better than the 6600.
i had a 6600AGP in my old pc and i ran BF2 on low and ran fine dont know about x800 i say , well how much money do u get? like say 4 weeks form now
Take a look at the 3rd one down, bargain for less than 100.
or that one, either would be good for your price range, the x800 would be faster but the 6800xt has sm3 support so horses for courses.
i got an idea wait tell the 8ser. for nvidia comes out then all cards will go down . The 8 ser. comes out THIS SUMMER WOOP WOOP 2.3ghz speed with 2 cores dont have to wor. about SLI and 48 pixelp. FULL SPEED !!!!!!!!!!!!! that will make u want to feel bad about your card and get the 8ser. lol:eek:    :deal:
a precise date please? lol been trying to get these parts for around 6 months just havent had the time, got my motherboard, asus a8n sli se, gonna get an amd athlon 64 3200 venice core, and that 3rd one down looks very nice :D
try saving up for £140 at least. For £140 you can get a nVidia 7600GT 256mb with Pixel Shader 3 support on the card! Its not that much extra so just save up that little bit extra.
