after watching the amazing videos of battlefield there are 2 things that are really worrying me :( 1. On the video 'Gameplay Footage' right at the start he opens up onto and enemy and i uses a whole clip to kill him.. this is not realistic surly? Gameplay Footage Vid here: http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/videos.jsp?setID=Gameplay%20Footage%20I&resID=hi now i don't know if the enemy had bodyarmour on or whatnot but a better example of this is on the video 'Ground Combat' just over 1/2 way through he opens up on an enemy witha 'SAW' and it hits this enemy loads of times but the enemy walks off a couple more meters before dying! Ground Combat Vid here: http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/videos.jsp?setID=Ground%20Combat&resID=hi 2. Found on ground combat video, he uses a silenced pistol to kill somone and then when they die they fly off into the air.. thats not how someone would die... any ideas?? and the last thing is more of a question really.. in DeltaForce 2 which some of you may remember with the Vortex engine, i beleive you could hide in the grass 100's of meteres away and not be seen, a true snipers haven, although a pain to players who like to run about, is was realistic, if someone could be arsed to run up into them hills they could snipe.. sniping and camping are elements of real life situations and as such they should be implamented into a game propperly. now my questions is this, can you hide in grass and you can do on delta force 2? in joint operations the grass dissapears the farther away you are from it, thus leavng anyone hiding in the grass visible for all to see.. sorry for my long post i just try explain things as best i can :) Cheers Chris.

2 things.

1) it's still in development so expect a few bugs, I am sure they will be fixed by the time the game is released. The behaviour of bodies has been referred to a number of times in interviews and I am sure they are aware of it, hopefully it is somethng that will be fixed.

2) Sniping; at the moment I believe the devs are using a prone blending technique to provide concealment (I can remember reading it somewhere, but maybe it was for another game?) , however from a couple of interviews it seems that the bushes and I hope the grass, will be a persistant hiding place even over long distances.

At BFV there was no grass if you were playing with low details and the hiding places were gone. What's in BF2 ?

That problem isn't existing anymore in BF2.

and

Will there be more nature, like trees and shrubs in which the player can hide like in BFV ?

Yes, but in BF2 the shrubs will also be a seve hiding place on long distance, not as in BFV.

So it seems that the devs have done something to improve distance concealement. Exactly how good that will be in practice we probably won't know until the game is released and we can try it out for ourselves.

Do you guys think when you kill someone they will not die in the few positions in BF1942? Have you guys played the Swat 4 demo? If you have the bodies fall and move all over the place. Not just staying in one spot.Like when I killed a terrorist he fell down the stairs, and I heard a clunk, clunk! Every time he hit a stair..hhehehfunny

you need to try out CS:S(counter strike source) then. It has full havock physics so the bodies and other crap goes flying in real life. So it you get someone in the head at point blank with the shotgun they go flying a bit.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure BF2 will have ragdoll physics, I think I read it somewhere. And as for it taking a whole clip to kill someone, couldn't they have just missed? It is an automatic weapon, after all...

there is a explosion near the guy just before he dies so that is what tossed his body into the air.
