You may have changed some of the desktop settings that are affecting your 3d mark performance. ie: you may have turned on Anti-aliasing in the meantime. Unless you can be sure that all your settings are EXACTLY the same as the original test and that no extra software is running in the background then it's really hard to say that your computer is getting lazy. What may seem like only small or minor changes to your computer setup can have a BIG affect on 3d performance.

Dudes what 3dmarks are you using? 3dmark01: 17932 3dmark03: 11143 3dmark05: 5845 [oced to 427/1104] 77.77 drivers. BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC 256. ASUS nForce 3 A7N8X-E Delux mobo. 1 gig pny ram [its old stuff....] 80 gig Seagate 7200 rpm hd. 250 gig Western Digital 7200 rpm hd. Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Value. A word aboutt he sound card.... it cant run eax 2.0 in FEAR. I have absolutely no clue why this is. Every other game runs eax 2.0 just fine... but not fear on that card. Oh well.

about 5000 on 3d mark 05. Just tell me is that low for this system? AGP Geforce 6800 GT AGP (Oced 412/1102) Albatron K8x800 modo AMD athlon 2800 (OCed 2ghz) 1gb DDR 348 ram (Motherboard is stupid it reduces the ram speed if you have 2 double sided 8 chip per side ram modules in it so it tries to run DDR333)

psyichicabout 5000 on 3d mark 05. Just tell me is that low for this system? No, in fact 5000 is quite good for a low end CPU (now I know some ppl will I am making a mistake referring to your 2800 as low end, but for real had core gamers it is, I even consider my Athlon 64 3200 as barely good enough). I would consider anything between 4500 to 5500 to be normal, any numbers higher or a lot lower to be either remarkably fast or remarkably slow.

And yes Audey, try 3dmark 05, that way other ppl could compare using the same benchmark, and preferably don't use selective tests unless either comparing them to your own previous tests or other ppl using the same selected tests. The problem is no one else just runs the game tests so they can't compare yours with thiers, and many of the other tests are used for advanced pixel shader features that require plenty of power so their benchmarks are liable to be far different from than yours even with an identical setup. But 6000 does sound very low for 3D Mark 03, the X800XL should be getting around the same as the 6800GT of psyichic in 3D Mark 05, but maybe a bit better because of your CPU

My 3d mark 05 score is 4765.

Specs are: AMD 3200 X800 pro OC'ed(564/564) 1024 megs ram.

My cpu scores seem low when compared to similar systems.I've run some diagnostic programs that indicate it's running slow, but I can't find the problem.
