MerrickDSsoooo you want to make it so you don't blow yourself up when you are trying to nade someone close to you and you misjudge the distance? Why don't you play Duckhunt. or perhaps something like ummmm hmmm oh maybe an RTS is more your speed or an rpg that you can do turn based. Give me a break....lol

I'd like to see the arming distance adjusted closer to the actual arming distance, which is 14 - 28 meters (that's a minimum of around 46 feet.)

http://www.leatherneck.marines.usna.edu/Documents/Pubs/b2109.pdf

It should do blunt trauma damage (i.e. no explosive effects) at distances less than the minimum arming requirement.

Also, I'd personally like to see it cause damage to anything within its listed damage radius of 5 meters (about 15ft.) That would mean if you decided to employ it against someone 10ft away, you are going to feel the pain as well.

That'd be sweet. But I was talking about rank because some people gloat over their 'uber-l337 skillz' because thery are sergeants, but accuse me of hacking because I shoot them while they are typing^.^

To answer the original question if people are still playing this game, the following website courtesy of Gamespy should help answer that: http://archive.gamespy.com/stats/ It's behind Half Life and HL2, but it's still uber popular (keep in mind, the stats behind HL and HL2 include all the mods that go with both like CounterStrike, Day of Defeat, etc). I'm really looking forward to Forgotten Hope 2, moreso than any other mod I've seen out there.
