I'm new to Battlefield 2 and just want to clear a few things up.
This game is it anything like Call of Duty Series except that its modern ?? You cant buy armour kits can you for yourself ?? Just I've been on a number of servers in the last week and I've shot people point blank range and they dont die, but over a distance I can kill (if I'm lucky). But when someone shoots at me, no matter which team I'm on, I always get shot. Doesnt matter if I'm close up or far away. Everytime I have full health and when someone shots at me my health goes in 1 - 2 seconds.
I've tried being all the different types of soldier and theres no difference I still get shot. :0wned:
The manual only tells ya so much lol.
ummmm u gotta work together, dont charge into tanks, dont charge into SAW's and the like. you gotta know the differnce between cover and concealment, also look under the kits, it shows a bar, that is sprint. If you have the large bar, you dont have armor, but can run farther, faster. If you do have a short one you have body armor which will reduce dmg to the chest by about 33%. I would recomend being a medic for your first few times playing because they get an accurate, strong gun and can heal themselves and teammates and revive the dead. I would also recomned to ALWAYS use iron sights because the guns are WAY more accurate then. Also, try to be prone and use single shot or burst, unless your a SAW gunner, then go prone, sight up, and spray some lead. Otherwise learn to shoot :p
lol cheers, so in otherwords its totally different to the CoD series, where you just join and shoot the enemy. I'll have to take a closer look at it. Cheers
I generally get shot at wherever I am too :p I generally jump and run a fair bit so as to not give the enemy a chance to adapt to the way I am moving. Also stick with a squad too you'll survive better. Burst first when you shoot, maybe 3 bullets then wait a sec then tap fire again. This will give you good aim at long range.
Do not consistantly fire your gun as your aim will start to get worse..
The main reason people dont die as fast close up is because when u get face to face with an opponent the usual reaction is to shoot, and when you shoot him the typical spot people shoot is the chest... due to it being the largest spot, its easier... and because the chest is protected by kevlar, you wont get much...
But from far range people typicaly shoot the face... and your enemies die faster..
Also, like stated above, always work as a team, being a "lone wolf" isnt a good tactic nor is it smart.... A lot of kids though like to be Lone wolves because it makes them look "cool and mysterious" but honestly, it makes ya look like an idiot.. lol
192837465it makes ya look like an idiot.. lol
It also prevents one from earning various awards, too. :nodding:
