i personally think that you should be able to use the expansion pack items like grappling hooks and stuff on the original BF2 game, it would have made it more interesting.... so come on EA get your act together and allow us to use the pack items on both games....
But only for the one who have the SF expansion Pack or it will be unfair for the ones who bought it.:deal:
Well, since some of the SF guns are already available to normal BF2 players without the expansion since the new patch, how much would it hurt to add some of the SF equipment? The flashbang is already part of normal BF2 gaming.
Grapping hook and the zip line would be cool too, maybe given only with the SF unlocked weapons. Ex: i unlocked the Scar-l and with it i can use the zipline. Or i unloched the MG36 so now i can use the teargas. Here it is that the ones who have SF will have a good award for their skill and make the ones who bought the expansion pack be happier for their new items!:naughty:
ya how about some of the maps too, I mean hey........pfff(sarcastic) man you uguys always want something for nothing...........just buy the expansion.
I bought the expansion but i wanna use the new items in the vanilla BF2 too!
eh, for those who don't have it, just buck up and pay 24.99 for the expansion i plan too* *after christmas because this year i am lucky/unlucky enough to have a g/f so therefor i spend more money and the christmas gift for my self has been removed from normal list of things to do.
I didn't make it!
While it would be cool to use the grapling hook and zip lines on the original maps, it may not be tested and playbalanced yet.
The problem is the balancing of those. Those cannot be balanced since then only a SF class could defend against them. The teargas could only be countered with a gasmask which would destroy the balance of the game. Flashbangs dont unbalance it since even in BF2:SF the only defense is just to look away when it goes. Anyone can do this but not everyone can pick up glrappling hooks and ziplines and not everyone would have a gasmask.
Hmm, in that case I will hold off buying of SF and just wait for EA to make the stuff available in BF2, I'm not really interseted in infantry maps anyway.
