Do you realize how completely unfair that would be for everyone who doesnt have the expansion?

I don't understand why they didn't keep the games seperate. I mean allowing the the tier 2 guns in BF2....after all it is an expansion pack if you wanted new guns and maps and all that stuff you should have to buy the game. I never should have bought SF, all I really wanted was some new guns. And you can't even unlock them in SF? I don't understand why they did that.

if you want to use the Bf2 maps in SF it is only taking the time and useing the editor and modafieing the maps, i had the idea but notihng has come of it sicne i am wasting all my time on my map.

Well I'm not much of a modder myself, so that's kind of out of the question for me. I wouldn't even know where to start. I would say a majority of the community isn't capable of modding games too.

EA owns DICE. EA is the producer, which means that it gives DICE the money to make the game, then EA gets the profits from the sales. That's how it generally works between developers and producers/distributers.
