ok this is a public forum ..SO RELAX. You may not get an answer for a bit. Fraps. I use Fraps and a converter, an AVI to "whatever" converter.

Well You Have A Couple Options, One Is To Use A Program Called Fraps But The Registered Version Is 40 Bucks And The Free Version Only Records 30 Second Videos, But Keep In Mind Fraps Really Bogs Down Your Computer And If You Have Anything Less Than The Fastest Top Of The Line System Then You're Going To Have Some Pretty Terrible Frame Rates. Theres Also A Free Program Called Gamecam Which Gives You Slightly Better Frame Rates But The Quality Is Much Worse. If You Just Want To Play Around With It, I Would Use Gamecam But If You're Going To Be Really Into It Then I Would Go With Fraps.

Yes slim is corret ... Fraps is a Frame rate killer. from 150 to 20 in bf2 LOL recording that is. You can use the screenshot taker and that isn't too bad.

Also if you want to add music and effects use Windows Movie Maker, it should come with Windows XP if it doesn't, you can download it from the Microsoft web site. Also another good tool to have is VirtualDub it doest quite a bit of stuff like convert from AVI's to MPEG's or Divix videos and you can use it to sync the sound with the video because sometimes the video will play faster than the audio, that is if you recorded it with sound. It's just a very useful program.
