I'd say no. It's not even on the minimum specs. I got the game to run on GeForce 5200 though, becasue I had an AMD 64 processer to take up the slack. I'm actually playing the game now on an e-machine (yes, I'm cheap) that I got on sale for 800 bucks. It has a Pentium 4 and I forget what the graphics card is, but I upgraded it and it's one of the top of the line ones. A good rule of thumb is that if the computer is more than 3 years old just scrap it and buy a new one tht will run it.

i got an emachine too, but i guess it wasnt that old cause it still has pretty high quilaty stuff just a shit graphics card, so i think a decent graphics card would be alot cheaper then a whole new top of the line pc.

what interface does it use? AGP or PCI? IF its AGP then you are in luck becasue there are still some very kick*** cards on the market for AGP. PCI is dead in terms of video.

He said its integrated, but it may also have a AGP slot.

The GF4MX will definately NOT run the game,no way, never, not even worth testing. If you have an AGP slot you can still get an FX6800 in AGP, or an X800 I believe.

I salvaged a AMD 64 from one of my (2 year) old laptops whose fans had stop working properly. My house rocks though (by # of computers). I have my e-machine which has a pentium 4, and a something 9800. Then I have another machine (it's my tivo too :) with a pentium 4 and a GeForce 6200 which is hooked up to my ancinet 10 year old sony TV. I can't even see the text!!!) Then I have a computer with a AMD, It's like a something 200 but it's very good and it has a 5200 or 5700LE GeForce. I have a old laptop from the 90s that weighs like 10 pounds and has the power of a PS2, I (had) a laptop which was very nice, got it to play BF42 on highest settings (on the internert!!!) with full players. I have enough parts to bulid about 3 more in boxes somewhere, full of the most state of the art (of the 90s) parts. I wanna get a Xeon processer (what they use in a xbox 360) and two 7800s, and LOTS of cool light up tubes (I have one :() but that will wait untill i'm working at some computer store on Feb, 27 next year (i'll be 15!!! Yeah!!!)

Personally I love AMD, once they make (affordable) multi core processers intels screwed. Anyways you need to give us more info on YOUR computer so we can help you. Theres this place I love to shop called MicroCenter, the people their know more about computers than whats the best on the market or the latest fad. And if you do decide to start over custom bulid it , you save like 1000 bucks so you can get lots of great games for it (for some reason I love the classics though, even though i'm 14).

The GF4 does not have the proper shaders or something to run BF2 altho there was a program that came out around the same time as the demo that over road something or anyother to let you play with a GF4, however you would have to look back to find it and I believe Punk Buster may pick it up as a hack.

Punkbuster is more like headbuster! It's nothing but problems (and headaches! :))!

Go get a 6200, they are very affordable (about $60 when I got one 2 weeks ago) and very powerfull (for their price). In the event your com can't handle one than just get one of those cheap coms that cost like 400 bucks, come with a AMD (at least 2.8 ghz) or pentium 4, (DON"T GET A DUAL CORE THOSE REALLY SUCK FOR GAMING). Then get a sound card ($20 is fine) and a GeForce 6 seris card (if you want one, it's just a brand I prefer).

Integrated cards aren't worth SHIT, in fact a old card from the 90s is better than no card (it's like 10 times better). If it comes with one bulit in than it's just a ploy to get you to buy it.
