I am running 1Gig of Kingston HyperX Dual Chan DDR 400 mem AMD 2500+ (non-64) ATI X850XT AGP 2x SATA WD 10K Rpm Raptor Hard Disks on a stripe raid And a cable internet connection. I get CRAP for frame-rate and play. Its almost damn near unplayable. I completed *every* step on this guide - http://gear.ign.com/articles/626/626714p1.html Still runs horribly I am currently playing at 1024x768 on medium settings, and i get horrible loading lag ingame on ranked and non ranked servers. Any ideas here? The demo ran FINE everything on and all the way full up.

I have a...

AMD Athlon 2500+ 1.8 ghz 1 gig of ram (1x512mb PC3200, 2x256mb PC2100) ATI Radeon 9600XT 128mb

Im running most settings on low-med with textures on high at 800x600. I get an average framerate of 35-40. Just turn down your settings some and you *should* be alright.

With an X850 you should be able to run with nearly everything on high, what exactly IS your framereate? You're not confusing internet lag with low FPS are you? If you create a multiplayer LAN game how does it perform FPS wise. Make a ntoe then join an empty internet server and do it again, compare results, they should be close, if they aren't it may be internet lag and not low FPS causing the issue. You certainly shouldn't have any loading lag with 2 10k rpm raptor in stripe array.

Same exact problem here except I have a 6800GT. Demo was fine at MAX. Now my frame rates drop to like 5 at times.

I have an ati9800pro and I had the same problem. I think you need to go to the 5.1 drivers. It changed my problem. go on medium, turn antiliasing on 4x....draw distance 100% and you should get really good results. I am getteing between 50-80 97 if I stare at a wall..........lol

I got similar stuff to #1's excpet a 6800gt. I get crap FPS on low/med. I got the lastest drivers. All EA says is "update your drivers, make sure you have no background processes running, lower you settings" I doubt they will ever fix this, join the 1337 card but low FPS club!
