I use a Nostromo n52 pad. I prefer the accuracy of a mouse when flying and the thumbpad on the n52 lets me do loops and sharp turns when dog-fighting. I have considered going to a Game-Pad style controller though.

To the people who can't figure out why their joystick works for air planes and not for helos I have made a picture for you. This should fix 90% of the people with this problem. helo.jpg I have made a post about this already but I guess some people don't like reading.

i use only keyboard.. i think its fine... easy enough.. it just takes practies

joystick, only thing to use, IMO, sometime you can tell when your going against a guy using a mouse/keyboard. only thing that bugs me is when your waiting for a chopper and a muppet hops in and lifts and flys into a building, PRACTICE OFFLINE DAMNIT!!!!! :D
