lmao that was why bfv was such a great game.
Crazy WolfI apologize for this not being a BF2 moment, but I still love this particular BFV moment. Some background, for those who haven't played BFV: USA/ARVN vs NVA/Vietcong NVA/Vietcong have a mobile spawn helicopter, the Mi-8. It has an open back, so that people can shoot out of it. The people being transported have no weapons, they just sit there. The USA/ARVN have an engineer kit. This kit includes an M14(semiauto powerful rifle), a wrench, a pistol, a knife, and C4 plastic explosives. I was A USA engineer. I made my way to the Vietcong base, where I spied a VC spawn chopper. Being a VC spawn chopper, I couldn't fly it, but I could sneak aboard. I crawled in the back. People kept spawning, I kept shooting 'em. I tired of this after a while, so I decided to bail. Of course, it is rude to leave unannounced. I left a present, or four presents, more accurately. I lept out, deployed my parachute, turned to look at the helicopter, and clicked the detonator. Crazy Wolf[C4]some guy Crazy Wolf[C4]Some guy Crazy Wolf[C4]some Guy Crazy Wolf[C4]Some Guy Naturally, this elicited many "WTFs?" It also gave me a large grin.:smokin:
Do that with the Bouncing Betty as well. Fun as hell. I spent a whole round on Khe Sahn chucking explosives on the NVA's helicopters and their MiGs.

Nice. But just imagine my escapade. Does it not give off a 007 vibe?

lol. mission impossible theme playing on ur jeep's radio(one of the most unique features of BF:V was that it had a list of songs that players could play while in any vehicle) while you're going into the base, 007 music after your explosive departure.

That would be sweet, except for the fact that a hobby of mine, and of many other players, is shooting a jeep driver, leaving the other passengers royally f**ked.
i only played bf2 on lan once, me and my friend were playing dalian plant 1v1 and we were having a sniper hunt, Enemy at the gates style. so i spawned, he was already on his uber camping position and waiting for me to show up. i showed up, i didnt see him, he shot, he missed. i then ran over and hid behind a building. i then went all around so he couldnt see me. he then moved to the radar on top of the roof, thinking that i will come from the direction of our spawn. at that time, i already sneaked around and climb up to the roof of a building on his right (that was about 4 meters away). it was sooo funny looking at him and listnening to his cursing while he was waiting for me to show up. i then told him "hey dude" and he said "what" i said "look to the right" and he was like "what the f**k?!", he looks to the right and then BOOM!!! headshot. it was hillarious becouse he was 100% sure that i will come from the direction he was looking at and besides that, he plays bf2 for a few months and he's a skilled CS sniper, while i played CS and BF2 only once and never used snipers much.
I was playing on Karkand once when an artillery shell landed RIGHT on top of me, it blew me so high i couldn't see the ground(i have view distance scale on 100%) i landed about 500 feet away from where i had been before, and it took about 20 seconds before i hit the ground. i was just sitting there for the next five minutes going "Holy...friggen...crap..."
Surely you would have spawned or your corpse disappeared.
I've actually practiced my technique doing this: get in a MiG-29, point it vertical, hold down the afterburners and exit it once you lose control. 90% of the time you hit your head doing this and your corpse cartwheels all the way to the ground. Wonder how confused the bots on Clean Sweep must have been to see an American soldier tumble out of the sky and land on their T-90. Pretty damn funny.
