Retribution.would someone help me please (sry for a sort of hijack antkiller) i made two accounts with two diffrent email (gmail and hotmail) in a vain attempt to try and get my name, i didnt get it both times so i deleted my hotmail accounted name now, when i try and make a new name with that hotmail account its coming up as that email address is in use (probably becuase it was by me but i deleted it)

Hi Retribution,

This the fourth time I have had to deal with this issue. You cannot delete your account on the Global Account Server. If you delete it from your computer your details are still on the Global Account Server! I have just tested it and yes you can have two accounts using the same email address, but the user name AND password MUST be different for both accounts, if the password and email address is the same you will get the email address in use error message.

If you want to you can easily check this out by going to the account managment function and "retrieve" your deleted account by entering your nick or email address and password. This makes accounts portable so you can use it on any computer (ie: at a friends house if he won't let you use his in case you screw up his global stats :naughty: )

'Skill[oNaire']Oh and I think when the full games comes out the accounts will be reset or something like that.

Unlikely, or I certainly hope not the case, there is no reason to do this as the Global Account Server is a completely seperate entity from the game. I expect future EA games will use the same system and you should be able to use your current account in multiple games (like STEAM  Ohno's) Not that EA has made any mention of this but I am expecting it!

Now i have created new email and new game account. Ive changed so that i have new name and the right country. Its just bit slow and stupid to always create a new email to change your name. They should make a website for account managing like in Americas Army.

Jeez, its not like they send you a confirmation email to that address. Just make up an address (write it down somewhere if you change computers), create as many account as you want.

I have already posted above, you do not need a new email address!. I have multiple accounts on the same email address with no problems.

Yea but stats only effect the name you play, so if you been playing long you can never change it to something cool like, "Skillionaire". That's even less impressive than steam. shucks, BF2 is already dying and hasn't even been released yet. That's what you get for over-hyping a game. And if you disagree you are a major fanboy.

Yes i forgot that. The only problem with that are the stats. Stop whining its just a demo people. The final version will include bigger maps and hell a lot of more stuff. The gameplay is ok in my opinion. The only thing i hate are the spawncamping n00bs. :)
