wen i put my graphics up to high or medium on bf2 my game goes as slow as ever and iv got a 128 mb graphics card........low graphics sux :(
You could try tweaking Windows to get a little more of your system recources freed up. Close down all the programs you dont use whilst playing, Stop some of the background services you will never use and go into Control Panel and adjust the system for best performance. Also within the game if you lower the resolution you will be able to set some more things to 'high'.
Thats not exactly a problem, thats just complaining. You ned a new grapics card. i recommend a radeon X800 of some sort.
So to speak, having a 128MB card doesn't really make it bad, after all a 128Mb 6600GT is better than any (or most) 256MB FX card. So yes, you need to invest in a better card, or just compromise on the visuals and enjoy the game.

having 128mb for a graphics card isnt always bad. My dad uses a 6600gt 128mb pcie and can run everything on medium settings @ 1280x1024.
Do you use a stock sound card? It may seem wierd but a simple sound card for aroud $30 can show a very noticible boost on fps. for me it averages me 6+ fps and i use a 5500fx 1gig of kingston ram 40+10 HD space 2.27 OC processor (over clocked)
In my opinion I think that the best graphic's card would have to be the new GeForce.
Yes, but next week it'll be the new ATi. And the week after that it'll be the latest geForce again. They release tit-for-tat new cards all the time, with slight increases in performance, always trying to get one up on the other.
