I did a youtube search for F35 recently and came up with a video of an F35 in BF2.

At least from that clip, the game looked awesome, I bet most people scramble for the jets as soon as the game loads. :p

I remember when this first came out, I was using my old computer which couldn't handle it, and from what I remember it was really buggy.

Is it any better now, have most of the bugs been fixed by the patches?

I was thinking about getting the BF2 Complete Collection compilation.

From the demo at least it looks really cool, no jets on the demo, but still pretty cool IMO.

Think it'd be worth it?

Thanks,

LC

Personally, I think I prefered BF1942 setting wise, as fighting in some made up battle in China isn't as memorable as fighting in Al Alamein or Midway or Normandy. However, its extremely fun, and some of the new features are brilliant (I say some, as the Commander Artillery and TV Missiles are probably the things that kill me the most, and require absolutely no skill to use)

So, is it not as buggy as I heard then, or do the patches fix the bugs?

Thanks for the replies, sounds like an awesome game!

If you do get battlefield 2, play project reality. Best mod for it. :p

Cool. So its pretty moddable?

Does it come with a mapping program or do you have to download it somewhere else?

I ask because there's a mapping program in the Utilities section on the bf2 files website, that doesn't look like its officially supported.

Also, is it buggy like I've heard? ;)

Yeah I like the game, it's quite fun. I just wish the game would treat those of whom who want to play it on single player instead a lot better. Pretty much you'll never get to dog fight with jets in single player mode, sorry I am pissed off too.
