Trojanman190I personally wana see them disable bunny hoppin
Ha you hate that two uh?, i cant stand it when people jump and down like little faries, so i just run up to them and knife em, nice and easy:nodding: . MerrickDS take a pill or something mate, its only a game, go outside once in a while, breath the fresh air and forget about the game for a while, stop taking the question waaaaaaaaaaaaay to seriously.
While I hate bunny hoppers to disable or cripple jumping would make alot of features on maps unavaliable, so you cannot just cripple jumping, and to change the maps would be alot of work There are alot more important issues that need sorting and fixing before some one who wants to jump around like a jack ass

As i said in my post, you obviously don't know me or the way i post. So let me clear this up once more. You guys are just going on and on and on and on about the same stuff day in and day out. Do you think some people get just a tad bit sick of hearing it? I don't take the game seriously, nor do i take the majority of the posts here seriously. I am able to give my opinion just like you, am i not? so whilst the majority of you sit and complain day in and day out about the game, and what it needs, the same people discussing this day in and day out. I complain about the ... well complainers. Just so you guys can see the issue. If you aren't blaming it on DICE you are blaming it on the people you play against. In another thread ( forgot who it was), one of the regulars Swore up and down " it isn't my computer, it is top notch ... nothing wrong", so on so forth. What happened? Found out his video card was going bad. We hear ya guys, and we understand that you are out for blood on this. But there is nothing you can do about the bunny hoppers, except, kill em. There will always be people who play the game differently than you do. And they have every right in the world to do it the way they want. Especially if it is in the game. Am i saying they should use the point farming exploit ? no. I am saying that if they want to hop around like a cute furry bunny rabit and then get ran over by an abrams, more power to them. Cattman, i am not arguing with you ..... I dislike people who hop around like a madman and make my life hell aslo while pulling off one shot one kills too. But what i am saying is this: There are things in this world we have no control over, lets just hijack some nuclear warheads and hold the world hostage till dice fixes it. Cattman, you have to read the twisted humor in some of my posts too. Ask Ots and Slim, they have seen it. I am here to help as much as you are here to complain, talk over, compliment, and play this game... No worries man .. as long we understand each other there is no harm no foul. well got to go ... They are allowing me my half hour break from lockdown. Hope i can play one on me in basketball. It isn't even one on one anymore. The warden got angry and left. Wonder if they will give me the oxygen i requested. LOL Ciao .
Yea there is something you can do about the bunny hoppers. Its really freaking simple... just like i sed earlier. There are three things you can do: 1.) Make a time delay for the next jump after the first jump. A guy jumps up but cant jump again for another 2 seconds or something like. Very very easy to code. 2.) Make a single jump take half or a third of the stamina away. If you dont ahve enough stamina you cant jump. I like this idea because its realistic and very easy to code. Realistic because after sprinting across a map with 100 pounds of gear on your back you probably are having a hard time walking. Jumping is just out of the question. Also, the code is already in the game. Everytime you jump you lose a little bit of stamina. You just have to tweak that to disable the bunny hoping. Guys will still be able to jump two or three times if they hadnt sprinted at all but for the most part this system will eliminate the bunny hopping. 3.) Everytime you sprint you drop your weapon down so you cant shoot or reload. Why not do that for jumping? I dont know of any soldiers int he world that are trained to shoot while jumping. And even if they could, how accurate can you be while jumping through the air? All of these systems work to ONLY eliminate bunny hopping. They wont change the maps or anything like that. You will still be able to jump on crates and stuff like that. Better yet... all this stuff is REALLY EASY TO IMPLEMENT. 100% of the code is already in the game. If they dont fix bunny hopping in the patch i may mod this myself.
Trojanman190: I know of several military units that teach soldiers to shoot while running , jumping and other moving situations, I have also been involved in creating simulations for these units I also think that you should be able to shoot while running, jumping. parachuting etc but thats me :) I think any one of those would work. MerrickDS: I for one don't blame dice for these types of issues, is a typical exploit found when a game comes out that can be solved in a patch, but I do expect Dice to look at stoping these exploist once they are found :sheep:
i dont know if anyone has said this because i dont have time to read this thread but i fucking HATE it (with passion) when ur driving and ur teamate runs out in front and u kill them, u say sorry but they still punish u!!! its so fucking gay, then u end up loosing the game with a minus score!!

Common sense would say that ALL military units are trained to shoot in ANY circumstance. What you arent pointing out is that they are trained to avoid shooting while running or jumping whenever possible because firing from a stable position is MUCH more accurate. At the very least accuracy should be dropped to almost nill when you are jumping.
Nope that is not what I'm point out what I'm point out is that some units are trained to use their weapon in any situation
I had read somewhere that there is discussion of changing the way this act is being scored. Rather than slap the engineer with a TK (and give the driver the ability punish the TK) it would be ruled a suicide by the driver. Teh Engineer will not be slapped with a negative scoring, but the driver will.
The only drawback I see would be that you may have ill willed nimrods dropping mines in front of teammate's vehicles intentionally, with ne worry of an adverse score on their behalf. Then again, you get the same nimrods currently that aim for teammates mines, knowing it will ruin the score of the engineer that dropped them, but this is less likely, as it gives themselves a death.
Great we go from one freaking stupid system to an even dumber one. I cant be alone in forcasting what happens... Engineer NOOBS putting mines all over the map. Gameplay will get smacked all over the place. Boo DICE. Boo. I really hope thats not what ehy are planning. In rewsponse to Smeghead's last post... Thats exactly what i sed in my post before this one =) Good to know we are on the same page.
