I think it would've been nice to implament an advantage as a higher rank. For example if your squad leader is a corporal, then the lance corporals and PFC's in his squad within his proximity should gain from his presence and leadership. You get points for killing within proximity of the flag, so why not for being within range of your squad leader? etc etc...unless I'm just to dumb to see a system implimented already.

That's not a bad idea. I think you already gain some advantages when you do things in proximity to your squad leader. Is there some way you can you tell what rank your teammates are? I hadn't noticed (or really looked).

i think for anything above private if you look at thier tag when it pops up on your screen it has the rank infront of their name. i think. but yes this would be a good system to have cause it works well in americas army.

Hmmm maybe, but first i think they need to reconsider their scoring system for certian kits and actions.

I mean for example i'll be an AT guy, and i'll shoot 3 or 4 rockets at a tank, and kill it, but will only get the same amount of points as i do killing some soldier, however the amount of effort put into taking out a tank is much greater than killing regular infantry. Same for aircrafts, and other armored vehicles. Or as spec ops, they should get points for blowing up enemy artillery, and other buildings. Or something along those lines...

In americas army if the squad leader is standing near by with his binoculars out it gives a MAJOR bonus to people around him accuracy wise

There's so much more they could've done with this game. I've gotten over the initial hype and now I'm just kinda sorry I wasn't more patient and waited. Mods might be able to throw it a life jacket but right now I think it's a bit water logged. Who knows, maybe in some distant chance they'll read just a bit of the complaints on these forums cause honestly I have not read very many praises here.:moon:

People are always so negative, the game works wonderfully, one major advantage people have failed to mention is that the person with the highest rank will be chosen to be commander provided they opt to.

the reason you dont see much praise around here is cause people come here when they want to bitch or have a problem. i personally think this is a great game and better than cod uo and americas army (they both still kick ass though).
