A medic should be able to drag his team mates to a safer position to heal/revive them. Like in real combat a soldier is usually carried back to a safer place to be helped.

How will this help gameplay? In my opinion, it's a neat idea but will be a useless feature.......

This is a game, as has been disussed many time. There are many things in the game that aren't like real combat, having to pick up and carry your buddy to a safe place would basically mean the medic would become a non-used class. In BF2 you are either under fire or somewhere laying safe. If you are under fire a medic is not going to help you cause he will get killed anyway, let alone having to pick up and carry your lifeless body far enough away to revive you. If you are dead and lying in a corner, well that's already as safe as its going to get.

You can barely get a medic to come out and revive you now as it is, you want him to {chuckles a little to himself} Pick you up , and all your gear, and carr.... carr...... { Bursts out laughing } Carry you to safety, then heal you ? { dries my eyes from laughing so hard.} Yeah i could see that. Cool idea.

MOH (PacAss) has this feature, and I thought it was cool. In reality, it would take too much time. It's better to dive & revive, then split quick in a BF2 combat stiuation. If you're gonna get killed for sure, and the guy you're reviving is going to get killed again, then don't revive him (unless you're just playing for team points regardless of how it hurts you kill/death ratio, or it's the squad leader and you gotta take a chance).

I would rather the guy drag my body to shelter than to revive me in open view only to have me killed 2 seconds later. But then, that's only noob or smaktards that do that, so I guess asking them to drag me into cover is too much to ask, anyway.

I would rather the medic drag me to cover than to revive me in plain view where I will only die 2 seconds later. But then, I guess only noob or smaktards do that and to ask them to drag a guy to cover is too much to ask, anyway.
