sbnOk, lets put this childish squabble to rest and get back on topic (Truce then). My point was that even at point blank range, people werent dying. I dont care how bad the person's aim is, hell even my wife can kills someone at point blank in COD. In COD you can easily take a Garand at some distance and get a kill with one shot. Here I am directly behind the person and unload a clip and nothing happens? So ignore the arguement on how good or bad the aim is, I am not talking about skill, but accuracy. And I know I am not alone on this because a number of players have had this happen, some when they were trying to kill me as well.

I agree. Truce. I find that its easier just to fire as many shots as possible if you are in CQB with someone. If the person you're up against has the Support kit, your pretty much screwed, because they can fire longer, faster, and more accurately than you can when you are trying to avoid them hitting you, while hitting them. I was running around with the SAW yesterday, and got into quite a few CQB encounters. I won all but 2, where I got raped and thouroughly (sp?) owned by tanks and APCs. They didn't even get a chance to fire, because I just fired a quick burst, and dropped em. The SAW is quite powerful, but you gotta get used to the bullet behavior. I noticed the rounds like to go above the sight post. Usually to the right. Another thing is, when you are in auto or burst mode, you already get an accuracy loss, because that setting takes away some accuracy, in order to avoid someone sniping with an M16 on burst fire. Single shot is extremely accurate compared to shooting one shot at a time with the Auto setting on. Just tinker with them, try to learn where their bullets like to go. Once you can get that, it should be easier for anyone to kill. Also, lag can be a factor to. Give it time. Dice will have a patch out soon.

I've gotten used to the firing methods in bf2 now.

I still have a problem with using the sniper rifle at range though, It's extremly hard to kill a guy who is just in viewing range with the sniper rifle, which of course is stupid considering these rifles can be fire with great accuracy at up to half a mile.

Well, you can't really change that, unless you want uber lag from distancing the fog further. I think the fog already is at about half a mile, but then again, I dunno. Its hard to say. Ultimately, realism wasn't necessarily a key thing when they made BF2.

FlakpanzerIt simply shows the lack of maturity on your part, to continually attack me. You attacking me also is detracting from any value this post had.

OK and your the mature one calling everyone morons and telling us we're narrowminded. Your comments somehow added to the value of this post?

This dude's name is runteldat. Holy shit. Feel that the guns' accuracy is depicted wrong. They have slight recoil on the gun, but as you shoot longer the bullets still get worse and worse in accuracy. Have one or the other. Either be like DoD where you have to control the recoil of the gun completely or make it like CS where your gun has no physical reoil but the bullets do. Don't use a little of both.
