As the title says. I'm running the version that comes with BF2 however there are slightly later versions out there and I'm wondering if they are any better. Of course NV being NV , and guru 3d getting beta drivers means that the version numbers of these things is not always a good indication of newness or not. Thx SLim

So the 77.72's then? Anybody running the 77.76's or even better the beta 80.40's then. I'm still actually running the 77.30's that came with BF2. So how is it with the 72's then? Any diff from the 30's? Thx Slim

I'm going to install 77.76, and 77.72 runs OK. Not really any difference.

Dont know but they are the very latest 'available' anywhere. Now the thing is though the version numbers on NV drivers dont always indicate their age as I'm sure i've seen thing unsupported in later versions in terms of cards etc. Anyway, so whos' gonna try them then? Think I might give it a go now on the 88's and post back. Stand by lol Slim

Just checked the version dates and the 88's are from the 12th of June where as the 77.76 are dated 20th July. I'm gonna give those a whirl I reckon. Slim

Well, 80.40 gave me no probs whatsoever, and they didn't really make a difference. I just downloaded them to make sure I had the latest drivers to keep playing BF2... 77.76/77.72/80.40, there's not much that I can see, they're just the latest ones, and you might need them to play the latest games.

Well although I've only just worked out how to show FPS and although I didnt do a decent test or anything last night I was averaginbg 30 fps on strike at karkland and today on some other map flying planes of all things I was getting about 50 fps. Of course no science at all went into this test and it's my first 30 minute of play on them but at the moment the 77.76 (which are the latest betas I know of) seem better than the 77.30's Slim
