Hey guys, well I finally got us all a server for the community. This is a pretty nice feature and add on I feel. You need to go here, http://battlefield2...Official_Ranked_Server;25286 for all the info and IP.
This thread is for the fallowing reasons:
- Setting up a game
- Talking about your experince
- Leaving a note about:
- Mass TK's
- Or any other offense
We are in recruit for admins and such. Email email@example.com for more info. There is a program you will need to download and I will be sending out a mass email to who ever responds. See you on the battlefield lsmaster Battlefield Files Staff
yo u need a server admin?( for the server)
Yes we are going to be the process of getting some admins. I will be setting up a game later this week/weekend. Look for it on the news section of the site! Also like I said, email email@example.com to let us know. I will be posting more info on how to use your admin.
NOTE: It is going to be easier to have two computers, one running the admin program and one running the server. It will all be explained in a mass email (like I said in the post) and I will also be informing the community.
Lewr, I think a stipulation to being a server admin is that you have to actually be able to speak english. And I don't mean that urban/redneck/west virginia english you speak.
Watch it. Remember who is staff and who isn't.
I think that was meant as a joke. Ease up man, peace...:smokin::cool:
I know from personal experience that just because you are a admin/staff/moderator doesn't make you a God. They are people too.
I know from personal experience that the rules state:
Treat other members with the respect they deserve. This means do not flame, slander or demean another user. Members reported for abusing another may be warned for their behaviour and will be banned if they persist.
I'm not claiming to be God, and if you got that from my one line post then you have issues. I'm merely pointing out that you are expected to treat others with respect. Please do. Thanks.
On topic, please, folks...

If you have enough ram you can switch between application with relative ease rather than using two computers. Using 2 computers is nice though. I can switch between BF2 and bf2cc client very quickly. It takes around 0.5 of a second. I have 2 gigs of ram and i have turned off my paging file. This really makes things alot faster.
And we have a comp whore! Yep it is good if you have ram. I just will be running the other comp to run BF2cc. It is easy plus I never miss out on action and can easily switch maps when needed.
