Is it just me or does the PARA MG, aka SAW, aim's really blow? I'm not using it like a minigun in unreal but, prone, held close with manual sight, shooting on the top of the triangle, single shots about 2 seconds apart. People are like 200 feet away and I can't hit crap. Help? Yeah, and the Engineer's shotty blows, he's damn right about that. But wait for some CQB, then maybe it'll be cool.
[Previous post: Whoops, this has been posted a lot before. I guess I shoulda searched...Well I have another issue.] On the terrorist or whatever side, I can climb to the top of the crane and snipe with the SVD but my shots don't see to do crap. Is there a trajectory for really long distances? I know the Predator Anti-Tank RL is like that; I have to aim about 4 feet above [not from my stance, but from where I am aiming the gun] the target to get in my shot. The USMC's sniper rifle doesn't seem to have that problem. [Love those headshots!] My other issue: I see the unlockable weapons, my heart stopped beating when I saw the HK G36C in the top slot and then I saw the Pancor Jackhammer shotgun for the engineer? WTF? That gun has been in Farcry, Stalker, and who knows what other games but it's not a commercially-available gun like the Mac10. There was ONE working prototype and few non-firing props but it never went into production. [Do a little frigging research BF2 people.] So I'm left wondering why didn't they use like a USAS-12 auto shotgun? It's auto and has a nice clip or cloth magazine. [It was in SOF 2.] I'm only having a gripe about it because it's unrealistic, and I THOUGHT BF2 was all about that. Ideas?
Hey, I can't help you with any of your questions, but... They're not terrorists! Hehe. They're a fictional military group, the Middle Eastern Coalition(MEC). Like NATO in non-fictional real life. And they're fighting for what they believe in just like the USMC. You get the idea I'm sure. ;) And when it comes to weapons, the game is fictional with some basis on reality(so it's not science fiction). Like a Tom Clancy novel. Hence the Pancor Jackhammer Shotgun. Cheers, OTS
yeah that would be cool if they used the USAS-12 ..that gun rules
By the way the para is a shortend m249 it looks like a m249 without a stock and what the heck usas12 doesent have cloth mag it has a 20 round drum and a 10 round box mag by the way jackhammer has only 2 protoypes and how many times to i have to say this ea is not in it for realism they make it fun with a balance for fun gameplay. http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/sh10-e.htm http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/sh16-e.htm http://world.guns.ru/machine/mg17-e.htm
buddy i'm not here to start a war but I know about the friggin para and pancor. the pancor has one working [aka firing] model but it's a full-auto weapon so it's not listed as a owned gun. [the owner, some dude in the south usa; it wouldn't be in his best legal interest to register it] google on pancor industries. you'll get a company history and the official story. and its been posted that BF2 is about the concept of warfare and not the actual depiction so okay. lastly the USAS-12 does have an option of using a cloth magazine. its like the MK19; it's on a loose belt inside the cloth. don't try to educate me on weapons, its my thing, something i'm interested in. got me sport?
