rank_11.jpg Sergeant Major of the Corps Only 1 person can hold this rank at a time. The rank is given to the best performing Sergeant Major at the end of each month. Check out http://www.ubar.sc/ for a list of Ranks, Badges, Medals and Ribbons.

It already takes 25 years to get to Sergeant Major of the Corps if you play an average of 2 hours a day and accumulate 40 or so points per round, why would you want more ranks?

Think about it; as soon as you got to anything above Lieutenant, you would effectively be OUT of the fight. Captains do occasionally get on the front lines (if they're idiots and unlucky) but nobody from Major on up has ANY business being that near frontline combat. So, as "cool" as it might seem to join the officer corps, it wouldn't actually make any sense. Sticking with the NCO ranks is logical. Hell, most Marine officers go through the Naval Academy in Annapolis anyway. :D

yea they designed the ranks and points in such a way that the game will actually go out and die before anyone gets anywhere NEAR them. Unless of course you have figured out some way of directly nurishing your body with feeding tubes and water tubes and you somehow figure out how to live without sleep. And no caffine wont cut it at a point becasue at a certain lack or REM sleep you begin to become psychologically unstable and most likely after that your body will die if you even manage to stay up because at that point if you practically blinked you would pass out.
