Ok, the whole issue of punishing TK's.....:uhoh: My problem is...mines (I mentioned them in Alibasta's thread about worst weapon so sorry for repeating myself). You lay them, then some twat of a team mate runs over them and they get TK'd, they then punish you!!! What the hell is that all about? They ran over it, it is clear to see (obviously accidents happen if you are in a fast moving vehicle) with big skull and cross bones in a red box!! Their fault, not mine. Why should I be punished? I have taken to telling my team where I have planted them as a warning, but that doesnt make any difference.:deal: So now, I just try to avoid laying them unless I KNOW an enemy vehicle/soldier (for claymores) is on its way. Any comments.....:bows:

This is a 999th thread about the subject, couldn't you have used an existing one? Comments? Have you ever played BF42? Or BFV? What happened to you in those games when you layed mines and some retarded 12yo with his fat greasy finger on the "W" key ran over your mines? You get punished for it automatically. That 12yo noob-tard doesn't even have to do anything, you get punished automatically for each TK. Here comes BF2 to the rescue, that finally gives an option to forgive. Now what are you complaining about? BF2 is obviously a great improvement over BF42 and BFV in this area. So, what are you complaining about?

Ok fair enough.....I have only been on this forum a while and thought it would be fun to see what other people thought. Just calm down mate!!!eekx.gif I agree, the punish system is a vast improvement over BF42, BFV, but still has room for more improvement.

No your right caveman, mine-happy teammates are a pain in the ass, especially when they like to put them at every entrance/exit at your own capture point! Even more so when the capture point isnt even in danger of being taken over when your whole team is spawning there!

I have noticed that people have matured and eased up on the punishing. Although there are still a few Tools that fail to accept their ignorance and chose to punish.

Little kids wanting to punish just cuz they can... MORONS! Lastnight with the sniper kit I was caping a point, UVA pops up over me and I see about 4 guys coming and close too. I drop my claymores. The were tooken out by some tank I guess, dunno for sure, when some dude starts crawling over to the claymores. Yeah yeah bet you hear this alot but what really got me pissed was this dude stoped and tried to crawl around them. It looked like he was trying to avoid them. BOOM! he gets blasted and 2 seconds later I get kicked. Must have been one of thoses "tools" Also I noticed that if you dont pick to punish or not and the time runs out, it chooses yes. Wonder if being able to exploded the mines by shooting it or something else would cut back on the TK's.

Not sure about that - I know an Engineer can defuse anti tank mines, but not sure about claymores - any1 defused a claymore before? Can it be done?

How do you defuse mines, with the wrench? How did you find out? I havent even heard about this in the tactical guides on the net for BF2...
