My Logitech mx510 is making some wierd sounds and looks like I need a replacement soon. What do you guys recommend? I kinda prefer Logitech but I'm curious what else is out there. What resolution would I want for BF2?
I just purchased a Razer Diamondback Plasma mouse from newegg and I would HIGHLY recommend this mouse. I myself had a Logitech mx510, and then upgraded to this. Much better and looks 70 times better. Check it out, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16826153104. Somewhat expensive, but deffinately worth the price. If you truly want to stick with Logitech I would suggest the Logitech mx518. Havent personally used it though so I am not aware of how it actually acts and feels. Good luck with purchase!
If you are married or living with someone, I suggest getting a corded mouse because oneday your wife will be chatting all day and forget to charge the mouse. Then when you want to play, you can't because your mouse is dead! I speak from experience... BTW - I have a Mx700 which kicks ass - when its charged:mad:

If you still have one, just plug in an old usb mouse next time your cordless is dead. It works instantly, and doesn't interfere with using the cordless mouse later. When my wife (or myself) forgets to charge mine, that's what I end up doing.
I have the Logitech LX700 cordless desktop and I have no complaints.
this is the one I use the most: logitech cordless laser mx 1000 is good but a little heavy. charge-able. this is the one i like the best: i also have logitech cordless optical which is the smoothest mouse i've ever used.battery. http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Hardware/Reviews/lcordlessoptical/ unfortunately, I don't think they make it any more.
If that mx510 was good, see if you get it fixed/replaced if its under warrenty. I have one(paid $50 for it) and its awsome. If you want a differnt one, you can't go wrong with that diamond back.
mx1000 from Logitech. It's a great mouse and very accurate especially for sniping....

Logitech MX 518, basicaly same as MX510, only "2x" accurate and faster.
Get the MX518! No questions about that. It lets you switch your DPI on the fly in any software. I am running around as infantry with the DPI set to 1600, so i can make a 180 turn with a single twitch of the finger, but when i see a far away target, i quickly switch to 400 DPI, and can take the best possible aim without having to worry about overcorrecting Same when flying planes. When i am doing a normal flight, searching for ground targets, i got the DPI set to 1000, which gives me a good steady flight, but when i get a heatseaker on my tail, or an enemy plane, i switch to 1600 DPI, and can make all the wild turns with minimal mouse movement
I use a Razer Diamondback
