You use your mouse for flying? I use joytick. Right now, I'm using a some dell mouse that came with my PC. It works great, except everyonce in a while, I have to clean it. You'd understand if you had a mouse like it.
My Microsoft USB Intellimouse 3.0 just died on me yesterday. I read this thread and thought that both the Razer Diamondback and Logitech MX518 looked like good choices. I went to Microcenter this morning and checked out the display models they had of both of these. After mulling it over for a while I decided on the Logitech MX518 simply because of the ability to change the dpi resolutions. The only thing I don't like so far if the feel of the center button(the mousewheel button). But maybe I'll get more used to it after a while, I just plugged it in!
If u want a true gaming mouse get the razor diamondback. Best gaming mouse out right now. http://www.razerzone.com/
